Booking Conditions
Bookings: Bookings should be made by phone or email and confirmed in writting within five days. A deposit of 25% of the total rental cost is payable at the time of booking. If a booking is made less than two months in advance, then the total rental cost is payable at the time of booking.
Acknowledgement of Booking: On receipt of your booking form and payment we shall write by return to confirm your booking.
Payment: Full payment is due two months in advance of the rental date, if full payment is not made on time the booking and the deposit may be forefeited. Arrangements can be made for late bookings.
Cancellation: If a booking is cancelled in writing, more than two months before the rental date, we shall endeavour to re-let the property. If this is possible, and the cottage is re-let at the full rate, the cost of the rental will be returned less the 25% deposit.
Arrival and Departure: The property will be available after 3.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. We rely on guests to leave the cottage clean and tidy.
Housekeeper's Deposit: A refundable deposit of £100 (cash or cheque) to cover loss, damage or breakage should be paid on arrival. This deposit, less the cost of any damage or breakage, will be refunded within fourteen days after rental.
Linen: Linen is provded for all beds. Towels and teatowels are also provided. Neither bedding nor linen is provided for cots.
No Smoking Please: All cottages are strictly non-smoking.
Care of the Property: The hirer is responsible for taking care of the cottage and keeping it clean and tidy. Any problems with the property or its condition should be reported straight away so that they can be rectified as quickly as possible.
Pets (by arrangement and only in Spurriers cottage): One pet in Spurriers cottage only, provided their own bedding is brought, they are to be kept out of the bedrooms and off the rugs and furninshings. Pets cannot be left alone in the property. Any mess left by the pet in the garden must be removed. An additional charge of £10 will be made when a pet is accepted on the booking form.
Access & Repairs: We (our agent), retain the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for repairs and/or maintenance. Should an appliance break down or any other repair work be required, we will do our utmost to ensure this is done quickly and efficiently, with the minimum of disruption to our guests.
